🔧 Radiator Leak Diagnosis – Mobile Mechanic Service
Summerville / Charleston Area

We recently helped a customer whose vehicle developed a coolant leak from the radiator.

When we inspected the vehicle, we found the radiator’s plastic tank had cracked. Someone had previously attempted to repair the leak using JB Weld.

While products like JB Weld can sometimes work for small temporary fixes, radiators operate under high heat and pressure. Because of that, these types of repairs usually don’t hold for long once the vehicle reaches operating temperature.

Once a plastic radiator tank cracks, the most reliable solution is typically replacing the radiator rather than trying to patch the leak.

🚐 Our mobile mechanic service came out to inspect the vehicle, diagnose the issue, and recommend the proper repair to get the vehicle back on the road safely.

Signs you may have a radiator problem:

• Coolant leaking under the vehicle
• Engine overheating
• Low coolant level
• Sweet coolant smell from the engine bay

If your vehicle is overheating or leaking coolant, we can come directly to you and diagnose the issue on-site.
